I attended a second drawing session on February 24, and the theme was “the Toy Hunter”. There was a good sized crowd, over a dozen artists had shown up. Some worked in oil paints, some pencils, some charcoals, and others on computer. The model was a pretty young lass dressed in a sort of “tribal” costume she assembled… but in lieu of animal skins/hides, it was made of stuffed animal skins/hides! I imagine if Robinson Crusoe was stranded in a Disney store instead of a deserted island, he would have been similarly dressed.
Attached are the one and two minute pose sketches for “warm ups”.
