One of the pieces of large drawings I recently found…. for a watercolor of mine, I actually like it. The paints are still very vivid- they appear to be “thickly” applied, like a child’s finger painting. I do not know what the proper terminology would be, but they seem less watery and the dyes seem deeper, as if I used paints from a tube as opposed to those dry powdered tabs (though I do not recall ever having that type of paint). This piece seems to have been lightly penciled at first, then inked with a felt tip marker and the rest was painted in. The faces also have some pencil shading after being painted.
